Hello everyone,

Today we are preparing to attend the LTSW workshop next week and update the high energy physics community about our recent advances in strong wire and cabled “Bi2212” superconductors.

As it turns out, our new round wire cables not only transport huge amounts of electrical current, they are also quite photogenic and beautiful in their own right. I suppose that’s not surprising since we coat them with a thin layer that is similar to a combination of ruby and sapphire.

Occurring in Jacksonville, FL, this workshop is also a welcome break from the NE winter wonderland.
